During this pandemic and the lockdowns associated with it everyone has begun creating their own way of working. Some people have children, some have a partner who needs to work from home as well and others are sitting at home by themselves. I started automating my work calendar because of my own work from home situation. I think you know the days where you hop from meeting to meeting without time to really get productive and I was looking forward to having the time to concentrate consecutively. Besides the concentration part, I’m off work on Wednesday afternoons and I didn’t want to deny meetings in that period manually. So I decided to try something new as an experiment and see if it works out: Use Microsoft Power Automate for calendar automation to deny all meeting invites for Wednesday afternoons and all meeting invites for my soon-to-be meeting-free Friday.
